Russian universities are ready to implement joint projects with Turkmenistan


Higher educational institutions in Russia are ready to join common educational projects with the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages ​​named after Dovletmammed Azadi; there are many proposals for advanced training from Russian universities. The First Secretary of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan, Yulia Zaitseva, stated this at a meeting with Russian language teachers at an Ashgabat university, SNG.Today reports.

The first secretary of the embassy recalled the recent successful experience of cooperation. In 2023, specialists from Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University (NGPU, Tatarstan) conducted advanced training courses for teachers from Turkmen universities. All the work was quite productive.

The diplomat noted that the Russian Ministry of Education is currently preparing for a special event.

“The second international forum of education ministers “Shaping the Future” will be held close to the Day of Russia, where Turkmenistan will be representative of the Deputy Minister. And we have hope that after the forum, the Ministry of Education will also come up with a proposal to conduct educational projects in Turkmenistan,” Zaitseva said.

According to her, practically the overwhelming majority of Russian universities have their own methods of teaching and implementing advanced training programs for various specialists. Among them are the State Institute of Russian Language named after A.S. Pushkin (Moscow), as fundamental in this subject, the Russian State Pedagogical Institute named after A.I. Herzen (St. Petersburg), Kazan Federal University, Astrakhan State University named after V.N. Tatishcheva and many others.
