Pupils of the Palace "Döwletliler köşgi" visited Turkey


 Pupils of the capital's Palace "Döwletliler köşgi", with the assistance of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, visited the Republic of Turkey. They took part in cultural events held annually on April 23 to mark Turkey's National Sovereignty and Children's Day.

In accordance with the cultural programme prepared by the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States, the pupils of the "Döwletliler köşgi" Palace took part in creative events held in the cities of Ankara and Istanbul.

As part of the cultural programme, the children visited the Ata Türk Mausoleum. A visit to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, where they were warmly welcomed and learnt about the peculiarities of the Parliament's work left unforgettable impressions on the children.

A meeting with the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan was also held. The pupils of the "Döwletliler köşgi" Palace expressed their sincere gratitude to the President of the brotherly country for the hospitality provided on the Turkish land and for ensuring the high level of organization of the events.

The children recited poems in Turkish and presented the book of the President of Turkmenistan "Ýaşlar - Watanyň daýanjy" translated into Turkish to the President of Turkey as a sign of gratitude. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was also presented with tahya and dutar, which are the national treasures of the Turkmen people. In this regard, the President of the Republic of Turkey expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the children, as well as to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, and the brotherly Turkmen people.
