A children's tennis festival was held in Ashgabat

1 June, 2024

Today, on 1 June, a children's tennis festival was held at the tennis complex of the Olympic town in Ashgabat on the occasion of International Children's Day.

About 50 young players and their coaches took part in it.

Masterclasses were organized for the participants. Each player could try their hand at various exercises.

It is important to note that the representative of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) for the development of tennis in the Central and Western Asia region, Amir Borgey, took part in the master classes as a mentor.

The advice and instructions of an experienced specialist fully inspired the players and increased their interest in the lessons.

At the end of the master classes, all boys and girls were presented with memorable gifts.

It should be especially emphasized that on the same day, the ceremony was held to present the Certificate of the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) to the Turkmen side declaring the Olympic town of Ashgabat as the “Education and Training Center of the Asian Region.”

Start your day with Salam!
